TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All members of Rap-aid Youth Football Club are subject to the following terms and conditions ("Terms and Conditions"). Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully.
The following Terms and Conditions apply to all members and non-member participants in relation to football training, matches and charitable events organised by Rap-aid. The term “you” refers to players/parents/carer/guardian and “You” can be singular or plural.
Rap-aid Youth Football website is operated by Fit2Live Sports, a registered charity based in London (registered number 1176173) operating from New River Sports, White Hart Lane, Wood Green and Edmonton Green Leisure Centre, Enfield.
THE RULES AND REGULATIONS
The Rules of the Club shall be those as stated in the Club’s Code of Conduct and form a binding agreement between each member and the Club. The constitution, rules and code of conduct are in addition to, the Ground Rules and guidelines set up by Rap-aid.
CONTRACT
1. You must be aged 18 years or more to register your child, and the child must be 6 years old at the start of the season in which they are registering to play. Ages 6 to 8 years will participate in a non-competitive formatted league of which scores & results will although noted be immaterial. Ages 9 and above will participate in competitive formatted league. Ages 6 to 8 years will play in 5 a-side mini matches, 9 to 10 years will play in 7 a-side mini matches, 11 to 12 years will play in 9 a-side while ages 13 and over will play in 11 a-side leagues. All age group will either play on a Saturday or Sunday.
2. Managers/Coaches will reserve the right to determine which group or team you will belong after consultation with the Youth Development Officer of the club.
3. All age groups will play football matches either on a Saturday or a Sunday. This will be dependent on the football leagues that each age group belongs to as decided by the Manager/Coach.
4. When a player is accepted by the club to play, the player has 14 days ‘cooling off ‘period to cancel their membership.
5. Unless a serious issue pertaining to health or moving home far from our training ground, parent/carer are advised not to withdraw their child away from their team during the football season - the football season commences from September of each year and ends May of the preceding year, with preseason in August and post season in June.
6. According to the rules of the football league, a club is only allowed to sign a certain number of players for a team per season.
7. Once your child is registered, for the season, the child becomes a member of the team/club until the end of the season.
CANCELLATION OF MEMBERSHIP & REFUND
- Should you decide to remove your child from the club/team after 14 days of registration, you would need to pay an administrative fee of £30 per child to the football club.
- Cancellation of membership must be communicated immediately to the relevant manager or coach of the age group that the player belongs to.
- Communication of the membership cancellation must be communicated verbally, and then followed by email or letter to the club secretary before the next training day.
- Payments will be returned if a class has to be cancelled due to minimum numbers not being achieved.
- Rap-aid Youth reserve the right to remove from our programme, without refund, anyone who is found to be bullying, misbehaving, or displaying disruptive behaviour.
- Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been received. Paid for spaces will be given priority.
- Rap-aid Youth or any of their staff are not responsible for any loss or injury during the class.
- You must declare if you do not want your child to be photographed for marketing use and keep us up-to-date should this change using the given email address or phone number.
- We do not issue refunds for missed sessions for circumstances that is not our fault. However, we would use our discretion on cases by cases.
- Registration fees (£185) is Not Refundable
MEDICAL RULE (Covid-19 Track and Trace)
1. You must declare all medical conditions during registration and keep us up-to-date should this change by emailing/calling us at – medics@rap-aidyouthfc.co.uk[1]
2. You must refrain from bringing your child to class if they have had any form of illness within 48 hours of the class[2].
3. You must provide us in advance or on the day your accurate contact details when attending our club[3].
SUBSCRIPTIONS
1. All players shall pay an Annual Membership Subscription Fee, which shall be such a sum laid down from time to time by the Management Committee.
2. The Club Subscriptions shall be due and payable between the 1st June to the 1st August of each year.
3. Membership of the club is from September to May of the preceding year.
4. In the event that there are outstanding subscription fees and has been outstanding for one calendar month after the due date as set by the club then membership of the club will lapse. The player would have to be de-registered from the club and club kit would have to be returned in good condition within 48 hours of the membership lapsing.
5. In the event that a player leaves the club either voluntarily or involuntarily, all outstanding fees owed to the club must be paid in full before the player leaves the club. The Football kit, which remains the property of the club, is to be returned to the club in good condition.
6. When a player leaves the club, to join another football club then all payment owed to the club must be paid before the players leaves Rap Aid Football Club.
7. In addition to the Club Subscription all members shall pay training fees in which shall be payable at such rates and in such manner as shall be laid down by Rap-aid Youth Committee with the prior approval of Fit2Live Sports committee.
DURATION OF PLAYING SEASON AND IMPORTANT DATES
· LEAGUE SEASON: SEPTEMBER TO MAY.
· RAP-AID YOUTH TOURNAMENT END: LAST WEEK IN MAY
· SUMMER CAMP: JUNE – JULY
· PRESEASON TRAINING - STARTS IN FIRST WEEK IN AUGUST
SCOUTS
1. Scout must contact Club Secretary to obtain fixtures concerning Players OR Teams.
2. All scouts can only speak to Club Secretary concerning any of our players before approaching parents in accordance with The FA rules.
3. Upon player being signed into the academy by professional clubs, Rap-aid must be updated with the progress of player.
4. Upon released, our club should be notified by the academy immediately with feedback notes concerning such player.
TRAINING AND LOCATION
1. Rap-aid shall provide Training Sessions all year round at New River Sports Centre, White Hart Lane for the Training and in accordance with these terms and conditions.
2. Up until 24 hours before the Training Sessions are due to commence, Rap-aid may by notice (text) alter the Training Location provided that the new location is within 3 miles of the original location.
TRAINING IS MANDATORY
1. All players must attend all training sessions as and when required by the club and all players must pay the required training fee for each training session.
2. All players will be expected to pay the required training fee as levied by the club for training sessions whether they attend training or not. Except in extenuating circumstances and at the, club’s discretion.
PLAYERS
Obligations towards the game
A player should:
1. Make every effort to develop their own sporting abilities, in terms of skill, technique, tactics and stamina.
2. Give maximum effort and strive for the best possible performance during a game, even if his team is in a position where the desired result has already been achieved.
3. Set a positive example for others, by respecting yourself first.
4. Avoid all forms of unsporting behaviour, and time-wasting.
5. Always have regard to the best interests of the game, including where publicly expressing an opinion on the game and any aspect of it, including others involved in the game.
6. Not use inappropriate language.
7. Wear the appropriate football kits for all games.
8. Always be on time for football training and football matches (both home & away matches).
Obligations towards one’s own team
A player should:
1. Make every effort consistent with Fair Play and the Laws of the Game to help his own team win.
2. Resist any influence which might, or might be seen to, bring into question his commitment to the team winning.
Respect for the Laws of the Game and competition rules
A player should:
1. Know and abide by the Laws, rules and spirit of the game, and the competition rules.
2. Accept success and failure, victory and defeat, equally.
3. Resist any temptation to take banned substances or use banned techniques.
Respect towards Opponents
A player should:
1. Always treat opponents with due respect, irrespective of the result of the game.
2. Safeguard the physical fitness of opponents, avoid violence and rough play, and help injured opponents.
Respect towards the Match Officials
A player should:
1. Accept the decision of the Match Official without protest.
2. Avoid words or actions which may mislead a Match Official.
3. Show due respect towards Match Officials.
Respect towards Team Officials
A player should
1. Abide by the instructions of their Coach and Team Officials, provided they do not contradict the spirit of this Code.
2. Show due respect towards the Team Officials of the opposition.
Obligations towards the Supporters
A player should:
1. Show due respect to the interests of supporters.
PARENTS/CARERS
Obligations towards the game
A parent/carer/spectator expectations and attitudes have a significant bearing on a child’s attitude towards:
1. Other players
2. Officials
3. Managers
4. Spectators.
This club will ensure that parents/carers/spectators within the club are always positive and encouraging towards all the children - not just their own. We will encourage parents/carers/spectators to:
1. Applaud the opposition as well as their own team.
2. Applaud effort and good play as well as success
3. Avoid coaching the child during the game.
4. No tactical input: Let the coaches do their job and not confuse the players by telling them what to do.
5. Must not attempt to influence the referee and coaches
6. Respect the referee’s decision at all time.
7. Give attention to each of the children involved in football not just the most talented.
8. Encourage the players to respect the opposition and match officials.
Anyone in breach of the code shall be held responsible by the Club and the League.
Parents should
1. Be aware that a register will be taken on training days, so it is important your child attend all training sessions.
2. Be aware if a child is absent from training a ‘Yellow’ card will be issued, if the player is absent on a second day of training another ‘Yellow’ card will be issued, two ‘Yellow’ cards equals a ‘Red’ card and that means that the child will not be able to play a match on the corresponding match day.
3. Complaints - Initially approach your team representatives in the first instance.
4. Be aware that complaints will be responded to within 5 days.
5. Be aware that the football kit remains the property of the club and in the event that the child no longer plays for the club either voluntarily or involuntarily then the kits is to be returned to the club immediately.
6. The football season runs from September to May of the following year. After the football season, we as a club are obliged to attend football tournaments usually during the months of May, June, and July. Parents are to contribute towards the cost of tournaments as and when required.
7. Parents should be aware that there are three forms of registration; there is the ‘Soccer School’, Development Team and the ‘Club Team Registration’.
8. A club can register an indefinite number of players; however, by being in a Development does not automatically mean you would be a Club Team Member (please discuss with the club secretary)
9. The club will ensure that parents/carers/spectators agree and adhere to the Code of Conduct and Child Protection Policy.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RULES
Rap-aid reserves the right to vary these Terms and Conditions at any time before the season commences, during season and at end of season. Each time you register or submit your application form, you confirm your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and codes of conduct, as varied by us from time to time.
